Can I use an application fee waiver?

Yes! You can submit an approved fee waiver to our office.  Please note, we do not participate in CFNC’s College Application Week.

When will I receive my formal acceptance letter?

An initial electronic acceptance letter will be available as soon as your application has been processed. A formal acceptance letter will be sent via mail at a later time.

Yes. NC College Connect guarantees admission to UNC Charlotte, but students must take all of the necessary next steps to apply for on-campus housing.

What if my GPA drops in my senior year?

You were offered admission to UNC Charlotte based on your GPA at the end of junior year. You will be required to submit a final high school transcript and must maintain your admitted GPA through senior year and maintain NC College Connect course requirements. Should your academic performance drop significantly in your senior year, we may rescind your admission or require more information.

Yes, you will go through a secondary review process by our office for admission into the program if you indicated one of our competitive majors on your application.  No supplemental information or additional materials are necessary to be considered for a competitive major, with the exception of Art/Graphic Design and Architecture.
