Passport students are encouraged to utilize Central Piedmont’s support services within the Academic Learning Center.
The ALC is committed to serving the needs of students and helping each student meet their academic goals.
They offer Supplemental Instruction and tutoring in the following areas:
- Writing
- Math
- Science
Additionally, they offer several workshops throughout the year focusing on writing areas such as MLA documentation, grammar, and constructing your essays and research assignments.

Passport Leaders

The Passport Leaders Mentor Program is a year-long program which welcomes 24 former Passport students as they transition to UNC Charlotte.

Meet All Passport Leaders

Coursework and program experiences designed to extend the sense of community within the Passport program into the first year at UNC Charlotte.
Enhance leadership skills and become mentors for new Passport students.
The option to live on campus in a community with other Passport Leaders.
Connections to faculty and staff from all over campus.
