Applying to UNC Charlotte through the NC College Connect program means that you are automatically admitted to our institution, but we need more information from you. Please review the information below.

Required Application Materials

All required materials listed above must be received by Undergraduate Admissions within two weeks of the application deadline (Nov. 15 / Feb. 15) to receive a decision by the notification date. To monitor the status of your application, please log in to your Future 49er Portal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the NC College Connect application confirm my enrollment with UNC Charlotte?

No, it just means that you have applied and will receive an offer of admission. Students have until May 1 to submit their Intent to Enroll and Enrollment Deposit to UNC Charlotte.

When will I receive my formal acceptance letter?

Your application will still go through our review process, and you can expect to receive a formal offer of admission via electronic and mailed letter based on the notification timelines provided in the chart above.

Am I eligible for scholarships?

We do not offer scholarships with an offer of admission. All institutional scholarships must be applied for via the NinerScholars Portal after receiving your formal acceptance letter.

Can I still apply to the Honors College and/or Levine Scholars Program?

Yes! In the Supplemental Application Information form, please be sure to indicate your interest in these programs: the Honors College and/or Levine Scholars Program. By doing so, you will receive more communication about those separate application processes.

Do I still need to apply for on-campus housing as an NC College Connect applicant?

Yes. NC College Connect guarantees admission to UNC Charlotte, but students must take all of the necessary next steps to apply for on-campus housing.

What if my GPA drops in my senior year?

You were offered admission to UNC Charlotte based on your GPA at the end of junior year. You will be required to submit a final high school transcript. Should your academic performance drop significantly in your senior year, we may rescind your admission or require more information like test scores.
