Choose the path that works best for you.
We want to congratulate you on your admission to UNC Charlotte for the spring semester. To help stay on track towards your degree and to make the most of your time before starting classes at Charlotte, you can choose one of three options for the fall semester.
This semester-long program is designed to help you make the most of the fall semester before joining us at Charlotte in the spring. With in-person and online course options through Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC), the Passport Program provides you with a personalized education in an exclusive cohort.
Please note that the passport program is invitation only and only available to in-state students.
If you're still looking to take classes at a local community college during the fall semester, you can still receive advising and support from Charlotte.
If you choose our Advising Pathway for spring admission, you will have the opportunity to engage with our Transfer Center through advising webinars and one on one meetings with the Transfer team.
They’ll guide you through the classes to take at your community college to make sure your credits will transfer to Charlotte for your intended major. With this pathway, you have the flexibility to take as many or as few courses as you’d like during the fall, and our Transfer team will be there each step of the way.
Students who chose this option must maintain a 2.0 GPA in any coursework they complete during the fall semester.
Note: Advising webinars will be held during the spring semester to help students as they select courses for the fall semester at their selected institution. Dates of webinars TBA.
If neither of the above options work for you, we've got you covered.
We understand that you might still be searching for a different option for spring admission and we encourage you to follow your path during the fall. Whether you choose to take classes independently, travel abroad, work or volunteer, Charlotte will be here waiting for you in the spring.
