We recommend comfortable walking shoes and a shirt that proudly represents the high school or community college you work at. Dressing in layers is also recommended as our meeting rooms can vary in temperature.
We recommend bringing something to write with and take notes on. If you prefer a laptop, please note that electrical outlets will be available around the perimeter of the meeting room but are not necessarily conveniently located at each table. We have free campus wifi that you can use.
For now we are proceeding with offering our annual Transfer Symposium event in-person on UNC Charlotte’s campus. We know that schedules and budgets can be tricky, but we value face-to-face connections as we collaborate, learn and continue our work in supporting transfer students together!
Registration will close on Friday, Feb. 20. We will send an email with parking instructions, building location, etc. the week of the event to accommodate any late registrations.
Yes! Undergraduate Admissions and the University Transfer Center will provide coffee and light refreshments upon arrival, lunch and light refreshments in the afternoon. As you are filling out the registration form please indicate any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate.
If you have any questions about the Transfer Symposium, please contact our event coordinator, Kaitlyn Kubacki, via email at kaitlyn.kubacki@charlotte.edu.
