Degrees: University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign ’20, B.F.A. Theatre Studies; University of South Carolina ’24, M.A.T. Theatre Education

Favorite Spot on Campus: Honestly, I just really love being outside on campus. I love exploring all of the different nature paths, spending time in the gardens and sitting in a rocking chair outside of Gage. It’s a great way to slow down while still enjoying the buzz of campus.

What makes Charlotte great to you?
Charlotte is such a welcoming campus to both students and staff. Like the city of Charlotte, there truly is something for everyone here. You can tell that there is great passion surrounding this University, and this passion is clearly shown through UNC Charlotte’s dedication to student academics, life, growth and success.

What’s your go-to karaoke song?
“You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift

If you were an expert in something besides admissions and higher education, what would it be?
Broadway. I am a fountain of knowledge on Broadway shows, performers, tours, seasons, etc. I love talking theatre with people!

What’s your favorite thing about the city of Charlotte?
I love that Charlotte has something for everyone! Whether you’re a sports fan, a performing arts lover, a foodie, someone who likes being out in nature or more, there is always something for you in Charlotte.

What’s your one piece of advice for students?
Take advantage of every opportunity that you can on campus. Try the club you’re curious about, take a course on something interesting to you, explore the city of Charlotte with friends. This is the time (and the place!) to try new things, meet new people and find what you’re truly passionate about.
