Open House

At Charlotte, we know how valuable it can be to experience campus, connect with academic faculty and admissions staff, and make the most of a visit during your college search. That’s why we are inviting YOU to do just that! Join us for Open House on Saturday, September 28 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

What to expect

Customize your college visit during Open House! You can spend the day hearing from our academic colleges, touring campus and housing, connecting with student services, meeting faculty and staff, meeting current students, and asking questions about our admission process.

Connect with Academics

Learn more about your academic area of interest, tour spaces and meet with faculty, staff and students. Not sure what you want to study? Visit multiple areas!

Tours & Activities

Beyond taking a guided tour of our growing campus, visit residence halls to picture yourself at home here. Don’t forget to stop for lunch and try one of our dining facilities or a familiar chain on campus.

Meet the many departments that are devoted to your academic support, providing resources for success and engaging in campus life. Ask questions to help you make informed decisions about your college search!

Who is eligible to attend Open House?

Open House is intended for  prospective first-year and prospective transfer students and their families.

What events are taking place during Open House?

A schedule will be provided to you prior to the start of the event. Information Sessions from academic colleges, admissions, housing, and financial aid will be available. You also have the option to take a tour of our campus or residence halls.

Do I have to stay the entire time?

We encourage you to arrive by 9 a.m. to check in. You will have the option to select what information sessions and tours you are interested in.

Are meals provided?

Meals are not provided, however; dining options are available and will be open! You can see what options are available on the Dining website.

What should I wear for Open House?

Dress comfortably, you’ll be getting your steps in at Open House!

Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is FREE for all guests during Open House. A list of suggested parking decks will be provided to you before the event.

I will need accommodations for the event, who can I contact?
