I am originally from Charleston, South Carolina. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a minor in Sports Studies. I moved to Charlotte in January of 2022 to be closer to family.

I am excited to be a part of the UNC Charlotte team! Students should choose UNC Charlotte because of all of the opportunities they can access right in the city of Charlotte. There are over 400 clubs and organizations, so there are more ways to get involved and find a community that best fits a student.

My passion for college access began as a student here at UNC Charlotte through serving as a Niner Guide. Being apart of the campus community was instrumental for my growth professionally and socially. My favorite thing about Charlotte is the opportunity and access to all of the resources on and off campus. There’s so much to take in! Today, I enjoy advocating and eliminating barriers so students can take advantage of what Charlotte has to offer, particularly for marginalized and underrepresented communities.

UNC Charlotte has over 400 student clubs and organizations you can be a part of. GET INVOLVED! There are so many opportunities for students whether it’s Greek Life, Intramural or Club sports, Faith-Based organizations, or if you can’t find something out of the 400+ you can create your own club! Being involved outside of the classroom is a main part of your college career. You will make life long friends and create even more opportunities for yourself. If I never got involved during my undergraduate career I would not be an admissions counselor today!
