What makes Charlotte great to you?
The ways in which we connect our students to all of the job, internship, mentoring and recreational opportunities in the city of Charlotte makes the return on investment on our education truly great. There are so many options for our students and they’re a short light rail ride away!
What’s your go-to karaoke song?
“Strawberry Wine” by Deanna Carter
If you were an expert in something besides admissions and higher education, what would it be?
Mountain peaks over 6,000 feet in the Southeast
What’s your favorite thing about the city of Charlotte?
Charlotte has all of the hallmarks of a large city (economic opportunity, professional sports teams, a light rail system, home to major Fortune 500 companies), but it’s small enough that I can still run into people I know at the grocery store and the airport.
What’s your one piece of advice for students?
Be your authentic self in your application, not who you think we want you to be. Authenticity shines bright on the application page.
