What makes Charlotte great to you?
I love how the campus is close enough to the city for easy access, yet far enough away to avoid the overwhelming hustle and bustle. This balance offers students unique opportunities
What’s your go-to karaoke song?
Anything by Taylor Swift
If you were an expert in something besides admissions and higher education, what would it be?
Pirates. I took a pirate history class my first semester at Charlotte and have been fascinated with them since.
What’s your favorite thing about the city of Charlotte?
I love that Charlotte offers the best of both worlds—a bustling big city vibe with pockets that still feel cozy and small. You can enjoy everything a large city has to offer, yet you’re also close to attractions like the U.S. National Whitewater Center for kayaking, rafting and rock climbing. The city is also just a short drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains and beautiful lakes like Lake Norman and Lake Wylie.
What’s your one piece of advice for students?
Visiting campus is loving campus. I hear students say all the time that Charlotte feels like a hidden gem. The campus is very pretty and has so much to offer.
