Spring 2024 Transfer Symposium

About

Hosted by UNC Charlotte Undergraduate Admissions and the University Transfer Center, this annual event is designed for NC Community College advisors, faculty members, Early/Middle College liaisons, and other professional staff members at your institution who work closest with advising and supporting prospective transfer students.

The individual symposium sessions will provide useful advising information, university updates, and insight into Niner Nation that we hope will help you in your work with transfer students.

Registration

  • Interested participants are asked to register by Friday, Feb. 9. You will receive a confirmation email within 2 business days of registering for the event.
  • All participants will receive a reminder email closer to the event with additional event details. There is no fee to attend this event.

  • Attendees are encouraged to wear attire representing their community college and comfortable walking shoes.
  • Hotel recommendations available upon request.

  • 9:30-10 | Arrival & Coffee with the Colleges
  • 10-10:15 | Welcome from Admission and University Transfer Center
  • 10:15-12 | Data Science & School of Professional Studies
  • 12-1 | Lunch
  • 1-2:30 | Engineering (tour + presentation)
  • 2:30-3 | Presentation from College of Heath & Human Services
