Aug. 1 | Admission application opens for spring, summer and fall terms |
Oct. 8 | Deadline for school counselors to nominate students for the Levine Scholars Program |
Late Oct. | University scholarship portal opens. The admissions application is not used to determine scholarship recipients. Note: You must be admitted to the university before you apply for scholarships. |
Nov. 1 | Early Action deadline for complete first-year admission applications Application completion deadline for Levine Scholars eligibility Note: If Nov.1 falls on a weekend, deadline moves to following Monday |
Nov. 16 | Deadline for supplemental application to Levine Scholars program |
Nov. 20 | The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens at fafsa.gov Note: You don’t need to wait for an admission decision before you apply for financial aid. |
Dec. 15 | Honors College priority application deadline |
Jan. 30 | Admission decision notification date for applicants who completed the application by Nov. 1 |
Feb. 1 | Second application completion deadline for freshman admission applications |
Feb. 1 | Admitted students may begin to submit their Intent to enroll in their Future 49er Portal |
Feb. 15 | Completion deadline for most incoming freshmen and transfer student scholarships |
Early Spring | On-campus housing application opens. The online housing application will be available in late February once the move-in process is complete for students that are starting in the spring term |
Mar. 1 | Priority deadline for new students to submit FAFSA with UNC Charlotte’s school code (002975). Note: You don’t need to wait for an admission decision before you apply for financial aid. |
Apr. 1 | Admission decision notification deadline for applicants who completed the application by Feb. 1 |
Early April | New Student Orientation reservations open |
May 1 | Deadline to submit intent to enroll for admitted students |
June | Housing assignments begin to be posted |
July | Student account statements begin to be emailed, if student has registered for classes |
