Financing Your Education

We are committed to providing the best quality of education at an affordable cost, but understand that determining how to pay for your education can be a daunting task. When it comes to paying for school, you have options.

Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance is an estimated budget for completing a full-year as a full-time student. This information is beneficial as an average amount of what you could anticipate your Charlotte expenses being upon enrolling. Current and previous academic years’ cost of attendance can be found here.

Scholarships

Charlotte awards more than 1,600 scholarships each year to our incoming first-year, transfer, as well as continuing undergraduate and graduate students. Once you are admitted and have activated your NinerNET account, you are able to apply for scholarships using our NinerScholars Portal.

Financial Aid

At Charlotte, nearly 75% of our students receive financial aid. Financial aid consists of grants, scholarships, loans, and student employment. Our Financial Aid Office attempts to determine an aid package which meets your financial need as demonstrated when you submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Student Employment

Being employed as a student on campus can be very beneficial to you during your time during and after graduation. For our students, studies have shown that students who work on campus are likely to be more successful in the classroom, compared to those who work off campus.
