Office of Adult Students and Extended Services
The Office of Adult Students and Extended Services (OASES) provides academic advice and support to prospective and enrolled adult and nontraditional students.
Adult Student Orientation is offered to new and readmitted adult students each semester. Gain valuable information on the academic services and programs for adult students and tips for academic success (does not exempt you from attending an NSO session).
The Advising mission of the Office of Adult Students and Extended Services (OASES) is to assist adult and nontraditional students in developing and implementing individual plans for achieving their academic and career goals. To schedule an advising appointment, call our office at 704-687-5104 or email adultstudents@charlotte.edu.
The Scholarship program is one of the many services OASES offers to nontraditional students to encourage and support their success. Students interested in applying should refer to the webpage for application guidelines.
49er Finish Program is designed to systematically identify and recruit former UNC Charlotte seniors back to the university to finish their degree. The personalized advising services offered through OASES and the student’s major department help students determine how to most effectively and efficiently complete their requirements for graduation.
